Norwich City Council is the data controller for the Norwich Tourist Information Centre and we have a contractual basis to process your personal information.

What will we do with your data?
We use it to process your booking for travel, accommodation or events, or to fulfil your request for information.
We intend to keep your data for up to six months after the date of the booking, or for six years plus the current year, for statutory financial data as stated in our Retention Schedule available on our website.
What are your rights?
You have the right to request access to your personal information to:
- ask for errors to be corrected
- restrict how your information is used
- object to how it is processed
- request that your data is deleted.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office if you are not happy with how your data is processed.
What are the consequences of you not providing data?
We will not be able to book your travel, accommodation or event, or fulfil your request for information.
How will we share your data?
Information provided for the Norwich Tourist Information Centre is shared internally with sports development (for Go 4Less cards), and financial and audit services where necessary.
We share information externally to the appropriate third party travel, accommodation or event organisation, or to forward correspondence to relevant responsible organisations.
Apart from where previously stated, we do not pass your details to third parties unless we are lawfully able to do so for the prevention and detection of crime and fraud, or for the collection of taxes.
