Norwich City Council is the data controller for ensuring public protection within Norwich. We take your privacy very seriously and under data protection legislation we have a legal obligation to process your personal information.

What will we do with your data?
We use the information you provide to gain an understanding of public opinion regarding proposed Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs) which can be introduced under the Antisocial Behaviour, Crime & Policing Act 2014.
We intend to keep your data for seven years, as stated in our Retention Schedule available on our website.
What are your rights?
You have the right to request access to your personal information to:
- ask for errors to be corrected
- restrict how your information is used
- object to how it is processed
- request that your data is deleted.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office if you are not satisfied with how your data is processed.
What are the consequences of you not providing data?
If the required data is not provided, we may be unable to use any comments you have provided in relation to the consultation.
How will we share your data?
Information provided will be used by council officers to determine public opinion regarding the proposed PSPO.
An anonymised version of your response may be provided to Norwich City Council councillors when determining if the PSPO should be accepted. All personal details will be removed.
No personal information will be passed to third parties.
