Local election results, 5 May 2016

Following yesterday’s local elections in Norwich, Labour remains the party in power, having a majority of the council’s 39 seats.

The political structure at City Hall is now as follows: Labour 26 seats, Green 10, Liberal Democrat 3.

Votes in the local elections were counted over night at The Halls, where the count for the Norwich result of the Norfolk Police and Crime Commissioner elections will take place from 1.30pm today. The total result for Norfolk will be announced by Kings Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council later today.
