We want to hear from as many people as possible across the city who care about the essential services we provide to residents and businesses.
Our citywide approach to gathering feedback will help to shape the council’s new 2024-29 corporate plan.
With the help of all the valuable feedback we receive, this key strategic document will set out the vision, aims, priorities and wider aspiration for our amazing city.
We have been busy having lots of conversations throughout the city over the last couple of weeks – including those with elected councillors, council colleagues, businesses and partner organisations to make sure we develop a plan that focuses on practical outcomes for our residents and the city over the next five years.
Those conversations are now widening out to all our residents and others who have an interest in the work of the city council.
Mike Stonard, leader of the city council, said: “This is our opportunity to listen and respond to the changing needs of our residents.
“Developing a new corporate plan isn't just about how the council delivers services. It’s also about the important and privileged role we have as leaders of the city to influence all we can to help us tackle some of the biggest challenges we’ve seen for many years.
“We are unashamedly ambitious for the council and our unique and amazing city.”
The consultation is being hosted on our engagement platform, Get Talking Norwich. The closing date is 30 November 2023.
In addition to answering a few questions, people are invited to leave comments on the interactive map for the city – we want you to tell us what you love about Norwich and how it can be even better!
