Royal fans will be able to come together in Norwich to enjoy the Coronation of King Charles on Saturday 6 May at The Coronation Big Screen free event in Chapelfield Gardens.
The massive 5m x 3m screen will start showing the BBC’s Live Broadcast from central London from 9am in the morning and will continue transmitting the festivities as they happen throughout the day.
Everyone is encouraged to bring their own chairs, picnic rugs and hampers, and food will be available to buy ranging from cupcakes, vegan and non-vegan food, ice creams and hot and cold drinks. There will be activities for children such as balloon modelling, stencil face painting and a Make Your Own Crown workshop.
A Mobiloo fully accessible toilet will be available with hoist and changing table (please bring your own sling if you wish to use the hoist).
Norwich will be joining other Coronation Big Screen events across the UK which are expected to attract thousands of people to watch the royal crowning ceremony in Westminster Abbey.
