Community litter picks, tidy-ups and rubbish collections took place across Norwich over the last week as part of the national Clean for the Queen initiative.
Children from West Earlham Infant School and St Michaels and Clover Hill schools joined forces with volunteers from the Boundary Road McDonalds, Friends of West Earlham Woods, Bowthorpe Grow, LTC Green Spaces, Grow Active, and local scouts and residents.
And together everyone did an absolutely great job. Woodland and suburban areas in Twenty Acre Wood, Enfield Road, Lakenham Way, Malbrook Road, Andersons Meadow, Dolphin Bridge, Hall Road, Rawley Road, Astley Road and Marriotts Way got a well deserved spruce up with dozens of bags of rubbish and litter collected.
