Norfolk County Council is closing Norwich (Mile Cross) Recycling Centre permanently from the end of the day on Thursday, 9 September.
This means that from Friday, 10 September, you will no longer be able to take your waste and recycling to this location for disposal.
A brand new recycling centre is due to be opened by the county council in Norwich north, near Norwich International Airport, on 22 September.
If you are not able to hold on to items that need to be disposed until then, the advice from Norfolk County Council is to use one of their other recycling centres at Ketteringham, Mayton Wood and Strumpshaw.
