Two of our remaining flagship events for 2020 have been cancelled due to the ongoing effects of Covid.
The hugely popular Halloween spectacular, Spooky City, and fireworks display, Big Boom, have both been cancelled due to the current guidance on social distancing for large scale public events.
Councillor Alan Waters, leader of Norwich City Council, said: “It will come as no surprise that we’ve had to cancel these much loved events which families have enjoyed, for free, for a number of years.
“We will be reviewing our events offer for 2021 in the coming months in light of the evolving situation on the pandemic.”
