A council-led energy scheme could help customers save over 30 per cent on solar installations this year.
Solar Together Norfolk is an initiative that aims to take the complexity out of shopping for solar panels, encouraging people to opt for sustainable, clean and environmentally-friendly energy.
The scheme works through collective group purchasing, which hopes to drive down the price of installing solar and provide access to high-quality installations.
This year’s supplier is Greenscape, an Ipswich-based company with accreditation from Norfolk Trading Standards, Suffolk Trading Standards and Which? Trusted Trader. The average saving to consumers this year is 32 per cent.
Solar Together is led by Norwich City Council in partnership with other Norfolk councils and collective purchasing company iChoosr.
