Proposals to designate a new neighbourhood area and forum within Norwich have been put forward to the city council and Broads Authority.
The proposals have been made by the Cathedral, Magdalen and St Augustine’s neighbourhood group, who hope to develop a neighbourhood plan for the area.
The proposed neighbourhood area includes the Cathedral, Magdalen Street and St Augustine’s Street areas, and covers about half the city centre.
A public consultation on the proposed designations began on 8 February and ends on 21 March. Following the consultation the city council and Broads Authority will respond to the proposals – expected to be this summer.
