What type of properties do we need?

Everything from one bedroom flats to four bedroom houses, meeting relevant property standard (more details on request). Properties outside the city council’s boundary will also be considered.

How to register your interest

It couldn’t be easier. Just email our experienced team and they will guide you through every step of the way so you can join our Let NCC property portfolio.

How does it work?

Under the scheme, you rent your property to us for four years. This is subject to a one-year minimum term, during which the agreement cannot normally be terminated. We guarantee to pay the rent to you whether the property is let or not. Rents are reasonable market rents.

At the end of the agreement period, we guarantee to hand the property back to you in the same condition in which it was first let, less fair wear and tear. We will repair any damage made by the tenants.

You can choose to manage any repairs during the letting period yourself or we can deal with it for a small administrative charge of 10% added to the cost of the work. LetNCC has a team of private contractors selected for their competitive pricing and quality of work.

We provide a full tenancy management service, and unlike most letttings and management agents, do not charge any tenancy start up or check out fees.

Demand for accommodation varies over time and sometimes certain size properties are more in need than others. If this is the case, we may not be able to take on your property straightaway but if you agree we will keep your details to contact you at a later date.

Who will live in the property?

People who are on the housing register or threatened with homelessness, including those entitled under national government resettlement schemes. By joining the scheme, you are helping reduce homelessness in the city.
