Purpose
To hand deliver poll cards in a set area within one week.
Principal duties:
- To collect poll cards from Norwich City Hall
- To ensure that you have been given the correct poll cards for your area by checking the list provided
- To plan your route and put into street order
- To hand deliver each poll card given. Any properties that are inaccessible, need to be returned to the elections office to be sent out in the post.
- Complete all deliveries within the timeframe set by elections office
- To be polite and professional when dealing with people on the doorstep
- To ensure your ID pass is on show and you make it clear on who you are to the elector if approached
Hours
All deliveries must be made within one week of commencement date.

Rate of pay
19p per poll card. Areas on average have 2500 poll cards to be delivered, so an average payment of £475. There will also be an £11 payment for collection.
