Eligible households could receive:
- Up to £15,000 for energy efficiency improvements (like insulation and ventilation)
- Up to £15,000 for low-carbon heating solutions (such as heat pumps)
These improvements will:
- Make homes warmer and more comfortable
- Reduce energy bills
- Lower carbon emissions in Norwich
Who can apply?
To be considered for the grant, you must live in a privately owned or rented home and meet both of the following criteria:
1. Your home must have an EPC rating of D, E, F or G

2. Your household must meet one of the following income criteria:
Pathway 1:
You live in a postcode area ranked 1–2 in the Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD).
Check the list of eligible postcodes here. (This is also checked automatically during your application.)
Pathway 2:
You receive one of the following means-tested benefits:
- Housing Benefit
- Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
- Income Support
- Pension Credit (Savings or Guarantee)
- Universal Credit
Pathway 3:
Your household’s combined gross income is under £36,000 per year (before tax).
