Mental health and wellbeing support

For help with mental health and wellbeing support, we encourage you to explore the valuable services provided by local charities and organisations.

Here is a list of organisations that may be able to help.

Mind Norfolk and Waveney

Mind offers a wide range of services for those of all ages including 1:1 support through talking therapies, community support groups, and there is also training and courses available surrounding mental health and employment

 

Mancroft Advice Project (MAP)

Mancroft Advice Project (MAP) offers help and advice young people aged 11-25. They can help with mental health advice, support, and counselling that’s free, confidential, and carried out by trained professionals.

 

Kooth

Kooth is an online counselling and emotional wellbeing support service that is free, confidential, and anonymous is available to individuals between the ages of 11 and 25 in Norfolk and Suffolk. Alongside online counselling, there is also peer support, forum, and discussion boards available in a supportive community.

 

Wellbeing

The Wellbeing Service provides a range of free and confidential support services for people aged 16 and over. This includes online CBT modules, guided self-help courses, counselling support services and 1:1 support.  

 

Qwell

Qrwell is an online counselling service that offers a variety of anonymous wellbeing support options, specifically to those people aged 18 and over. It is free to use, and no referral is required to access the service. With a holistic approach, it encourages users to focus on their emotional, physical, and social wellbeing.
