The first Love Norwich community clear-up event will take place on Sunday, November 20 from 10am-2pm around Suffolk Square and Somerleyton Gardens.
Teams from the city council and Norwich City Services Ltd. (NCSL) will be carrying out work including graffiti and fly-tipping removal.
Local residents are invited to Sam’s Café in Vauxhall Street for a free cup of tea or coffee and there will be free activities for children.
The city council will also be teaming up with the Adat Yeshua Messianic Synagogue for their Mitzvah Day litter pick, taking place from 11am to 1pm.
Everyone is welcome to take part on a drop-in basis – litter picking equipment will be available from the foodbank at the back of the synagogue in Essex Street. Children’s litter picking equipment will also be available.
