Report a street light problem

The majority of street lights in Norwich are maintained by Norfolk County Council. However, Norwich City Council is responsible for the lighting along some footpaths and alleys.

If you are able to identify the street light you are reporting by the reference number and colour of its post it will help us to deal with the problem.

Norfolk County Council street lights

  • Posts are two-tone (dark green base and paler top), unpainted or black.
  • Posts have an identification reference which begin with a letter.
