An allotment is a serious commitment so we’ve produced a Get growing guide to give you an idea of what is required once you’ve been allocated your new plot.
You will need to make regular visits to tend your allotment, harvest produce, and control weeds. Initially a lot of time will be needed to clear and cultivate your plot when you first take it on as plots can have been dormant for some time before being available for offer.
