Norwich City Council’s community enabling officers support thematic networks to encourage sharing skills and information amongst those working on common themes across the city. It’s the ideal place to be inspired and connect with others working on similar projects. Our current networking sessions are:
Outdoor Projects Network
For Norwich groups and organisations that work on outdoor sites such as parks, woodlands and community gardens.
Outdoor Projects Network on LUMI
Food Network
For Norwich groups and organisations that work to alleviate food poverty, reduce food waste and support healthy eating. Successful projects have included the introduction of social supermarkets to the city and the creation of the Norwich Food Alliance action plan.
Community Venues Network
The team are currently working with groups to develop and grow a Community Venues Network to support organisations across the city to share their skills and knowledge around running safe and successful community buildings.
