As we have a limited pot, we sadly can’t fund every great idea so there is a scoring system which sits behind our decision making.
It looks at:
- The suitability of the project under the NCIL legislation.
- Whether the beneficiaries of the project are at least 80% within Norwich city boundaries
- How well the suggestion fits with local and citywide priorities
- How much community support there is for a project
- Whether we feel the project is deliverable within time scales, budgets and against the delivery plan
- Whether this project could lead to further funding, including to strategic CIL
- How many people will be impacted positively by the project
- Whether there are elements of partnership working
We then also apply a weighting based on the area of deprivation of the location of the project’s main area of impact.
