The Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy (NCIL) is a community funding programme that uses money collected from developers.
While the majority of Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) is used to develop large physical infrastructure projects such as schools, transport and large park projects, NCIL is 15% of the CIL total and has a more community focused remit.
While NCIL still needs to be focused on growth, it also needs to be led by the priorities of the community.
