Our council offices and phone lines will close at 4pm on Wednesday 24 December and reopen at 9am on Monday 5 January 2026.

Pay Policy Statement
The council is required to publish an annual pay policy in agreement with Section 38 of the Localism Act 2011.
This statement sets out:
- payment of chief officers for the financial year
- payment of the lowest-paid employees
- the relationship between the payment of chief officers and that of other employees
