For small groups
If you are a newly formed group of at least three residents, you can receive funding to:
- organize a neighbourhood meet-up about a local issue
- canvass neighbours to join a new community group
- host an event or activity to bring people together.
The community enabling team can make purchases up to £50 on your behalf, covering costs like venue hire, refreshments and road closures for events.
Get Together grants are available as a one-off award to a group. A second grant would only be considered for a new and separate project.
In addition to the £50 funding, we can also help you borrow equipment like gazebos, games, and flip charts. Check the Lumi website for available items.

No formal application is needed. Simply email community@norwich.gov.uk, and an officer will visit to discuss how we can support you.
