Some properties can be made exempt from council tax. These exemptions include properties where:
- all residents are students (please note: it is your responsibility to provide the council with evidence. The college/university will not automatically pass on your details and we are unable to obtain this on your behalf)
- all residents are under 18 years old
- one or more of those in the house has a severe mental impairment.
