Bowthorpe (Boatman Way, Dragonfly Way & Hoverfly Way) Footway Conversion to Cycle/Footway Notice 2020
This proposal will:
Convert the following lengths of footway into cycleways / footways:
(i) Boatman Way
- from its junction with Dereham Road via Clover Hill Road to the Clover Hill village centre, including its three short footpath spurs from Clover Hill Road and
- from its junction with Harpsfield to its junction with Bowthorpe Hall Road .
(ii) Dragonfly Way
- from its junction with Wendene to its junction with Harpsfield and its short footpath spur to Bendish Way.
(iii) Hoverfly Way
- on the eastern side of Clover Hill Road from a point west of No. 244 Earlham Green Lane to its junction with Boatman Way shared use path to the rear of Joe Ellis Court.
The conversion of Hoverfly Way may include improvements to the cycleway/footpath as shown on Plan No. 2019-003-02 below.
These proposals are to improve cycle facilities in Bowthorpe, part of the purple (Outer circuit) pedalway and a link between the Yare Valley and Wensum Valley.

Comments regarding the proposal should be sent to the Director of Place (Ref KDY/Clover Hill) by email transport@norwich.gov.uk, to be received no later than 24 March 2020.
