The aim of the economic strategy for Norwich 2019-24 is to provide the framework and ambition that will direct the actions the council and its partners will take to achieve increased economic productivity and a prosperous, resilient and inclusive economy.
The draft strategy has been informed by the 2018 Norwich Economic Assessment and also takes into account the recent work undertaken by the 2040 Vision partnership to develop a new vision for Norwich.

What happens next
At this stage, we would really value your feedback on the core objectives and priorities for growth that we have identified - these have been drawn from analysis of key economic data and engagement with local businesses and stakeholders. The feedback received will be used to shape the economic strategy and develop annual action plans.
We are planning to publish a final document during April 2019.
