Norwich City Council is responsible for the regulation of sex establishments within the Norwich area. Sex establishments includes: sex shops, sex cinemas and sexual entertainment venues.
The Sex Establishments Policy sets out our approach to the regulation and procedure we adopt in relation to applications for sex establishment licences.
We are currently reviewing this policy and the purpose of this consultation is to get views on the proposed update. One of the important changes in the draft policy is the proposal to limit the number of sex establishments around the city.
