New traders
Anyone interested in running a stall on Norwich Market is invited to book a free informal chat with a market officer. Appointments are available between 1pm and 4pm on Thursday 26 May.

Activities
On Saturday 21 May there will be lots of fun on the market. Stalls will making small charges of 50p to £1 to participate and monies raised will be donated to the particular stall's charity of choice including Medecins Sans Frontieres and Guide Dogs for the Blind.
The fun is set to include:
- A dress-up and photo-taking competition at the four vintage stalls on the back of the market which form the Upmarket Vintage collective.
- From 1pm musician Barney Holmes will be playing a range of eclectic covers and original material. Holmes' credits include performing alongside Green Day, gigging with Ed Sheeran and appearing on BBC1's The Voice and ITV's X Factor Boot Camp. Free for everyone to enjoy at the back of the market behind the war memorial.
- A history of Norwich Market trail will be running from the Starnaker stall (138 and 139, back of the market) which sells homewares and wooden children's toys. The trail will feature ten stops round the market with four questions for children to answer and a small prize for those who get it right. There will also be a traditional pin the tail on the donkey competition. An overall prize of a £25 voucher to spend at Starnaker will be up for grabs.
- An ice cream eating competition at The Ice Cream Parlour on the corner of the market near the Guildhall. It will cost £1 to participate and the fastest ice-cream eater will get a T-shirt.
- Borca, which sells wickerware on the Guildhall Hill side of the market, is running a light-hearted competition focusing on its popular range of wicker coffins.
