Norwich City Council is revising its Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) for 2024. The update reflects the latest national planning policy developments and aims to ensure that the public continue to be actively involved in shaping the city’s planning decisions.
The SCI outlines how the council will engage and consult with residents, community groups, and other stakeholders on planning matters. This includes developing local plans and assessing planning applications.
This engagement is crucial to ensure that all development meets the needs and aspirations of the Norwich community, while minimising negative impacts and maximising positive benefits.
The consultation will run from Friday 18 October 2024 to Sunday 1 December 2024.
