Norwich City Services Ltd (NCSL) is responsible for the repair and maintenance of 69 lifebuoy stations situated along the River Wensum and River Yare.
Lifebuoy inspections
Inspections of the lifebuoy stations are carried out every two weeks during school term time and once a week during school holidays.
Lifebuoy stations
All lifebuoy stations are individually numbered in order to identify their location.
Stations between Carrow Road picnic site and Bishop Bridge have a unique number, from 1 to 22. Reports for these stations will be responded to within two hours. All other stations with be responded to during the next working day.
