Motorcycle parking

Where to park

The Norwich parking planner shows the location of all car parks and on-street motorcycle parking, indicated by the red motorcycle symbols.

Free parking available:

• any pay and display bay
• permit parking bay
• limited waiting bays

  Maximum parking time is the same as for other vehicles as signed in the bay.


Please note: motorcycles and mopeds are not allowed to park on the footway adjacent to a waiting restriction (eg where there is a double or single yellow line or in any pedestrian zone). 

Motorcycle parking in city council car parks

Surface car parks: free of charge.

Bus lanes and bus gates in Norwich

Motorcycles or mopeds may not use bus lanes or bus gates during their operating hours as signed on street.
