Closed consultation: Prospect House site

Draft Development Brief for consultation

Consultation closed 3 August 2018

Archant own and work from Prospect House on land between Ber Street, Golden Ball Street, Rouen Road and Thorn Lane. In 2017 the company announced it was reviewing its property holdings.

The Prospect House site is not mentioned in the current Norwich Local Plan as it was not a development opportunity when the plan was produced.

When Archant approached the city council about its plans it was agreed that, although the idea of redevelopment was supported, such a significant area of the city needed to have guidelines in place before it could be redeveloped.

The city council has now produced a draft development brief. This will help shape the future of the site and we would like your views on this. Any future planning application that is submitted for the site will be tested against the principles in the development brief along with national and local planning policies.
