The Tenant Involvement Panel (TIP) meets every six weeks at City Hall and consists of a small group of tenants who have volunteered for this role. TIP held 7 meetings during 2023/24.
TIP activities:
- Bowthorpe visit: Review of new build estate.
- Eastern Procurement meeting: Involved in the specification for the works and questions to be asked to bidders within the Heating Framework and Roofing Framework for contracts.
- Consultations: Tenancy Policy and Tenancy Agreement changes.
- Housing Ombudsman repairs spotlight consultation
- ARCH (Association of Retained Council Housing) Conference: Conference held in Stevenage. Three TIP members attended where they discussed social housing topics with tenants from other areas of the country.

- Compliance Updates (each quarter): Gas Safety, Electrical checks, etc
- ASB policy and process
- Domestic Abuse: Housing Alliance
- New build development plans.
- Tenant Engagement Strategy

- Housing Revenue Account
