Five new council homes were delivered on the former Kings Arms pub site on Mile Cross Road. The site was acquired using a compulsory purchase order having been derelict for a number of years.
A further 21 properties have been made available through grants and / or land provided to Register Providers.
- Nutrient neutrality had delayed a planning application decision for 14 new homes on Argyle Street, however this was recently approved and development is likely to commence in 2024.
- Development is progressing on the next phase of development at Three Score. This will see delivery of 76 new council homes in total, with the handover of the first homes being completed in Q2 of 2023-24.
- Design work is continuing on the Mile Cross depot site with a planning application expected to be submitted in late 2023.
