Norwich City Council is the data controller for The Green Homes Grant scheme (Local Authority Delivery).
For individuals expressing an interest in the scheme we process your information with your consent, however when drawing up a contract and in fulfilling it we will process your personal data under contract.

What will we do with your data?
We use it to process your application and/or expression of interest for the Green Homes Grant scheme. We will keep you informed about the progress of the scheme, and, if you choose to access funding, process your application to make sure you are eligible.
We intend to keep your data for six years after the scheme ends as stated in our Retention Schedule available on our website.
What are your rights?
You have the right to request access to your personal information to:
- ask for errors to be corrected
- restrict how your information is used
- object to how it is processed
- or request that your data is deleted.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office if you are not happy with how your data is processed.
What are the consequences of you not providing data?
You will be unable to access the grant funding.
How will we share your data?
Information provided for delivery of the scheme is shared internally with the environmental strategy team in order that they may carry out their duties.
For those homeowners seeking works to be carried out, we will share your details with our contractor(s) to enable them to undertake the requested works. Details of the specific contractors will be provided to those who request the works.
Apart from where previously stated, we do not pass your details to any other third parties unless we are lawfully able to do so for the prevention and detection of crime and fraud, or for the collection of taxes.
