Garages and lockable parking posts are available to rent across the city. Garages are to be used for parking a motorised vehicle, and not for storage or to be used as workshops.
Anyone can rent a garage or parking post, but we prioritise:
- Blue Badge holders
- Norwich City Council tenants
- Norwich residents who pay council tax to Norwich City Council
- Non-city residents

Information you need to know when applying
You must hold a UK or European driving licence as well as proof of vehicle ownership/lease or company car agreement. Proof of these will be required to process your application.
If you are a Norwich City Council tenant or leaseholder, all accounts should be clear of arrears.
Where more than one person bids on a garage or parking post, it will be allocated to the applicant who lives closest and meets the priorities above.
