As the proprietor of a food business you have the right to request a revisit to your premises for the purpose of rerating.
- A request for a revisit can be made at any time after the inspection, provided that you have made the required improvements.The fee for a revisit is £225.
- When you make your request you must pay the fee and provide details of the improvements, uploading supporting evidence where applicable. The revisit will be carried out within three months of payment being received.
- We will give you a ‘new’ food hygiene rating based on the level of compliance found at the time of the revisit - you should be aware that your rating could go up, down or remain the same.
- There is no limit on the number of requests you can make.
Payments can be made by credit or debit card.
Once you have started, you must continue to the end and submit the form. Please note that you only have 30 minutes to fill out each page and you will not be able to come back to the form at a later time because your answers will not be saved.
