Your vehicle licence will be valid for one year from the date we granted it. You will need to renew it before your current licence expires.
We will send an email to remind you of your vehicle licence expiry date.
Your vehicle will need an inspection check every year, as long as it is less than 10 year's old. If the vehicle is 10 years old and more, it must be checked every six months. We can't accept a vehicle inspection check if it was carried out more than six weeks before your renewal date.
You can renew your licence online where you can submit supporting documents and pay the correct fee.
If your licence has already expired you will need to submit a new licence application.
