Textiles collections

How to recycle your textiles

Place any clean, dry textiles in a standard-sized carrier bag (no black bin liners) then place it next to your recycling or black waste bin by 6am on your collection day.

Please don’t put bagged textiles in your bins as they won’t be collected.

Please note there is no missed collections of textiles.  If your collection is missed, just set it out for collection on the following week.

Textiles are dealt with by a company called East London Textiles. They send the good quality items overseas and those not suitable for reuse are turned into new items. Find out more on the East London Textiles website.
