Bring banks
There are a number of bring banks in and around the city where you can bring your glass, textiles, shoes and mixed recycling.
What you can recycle in the mixed recycling bring banks
- paper and cardboard
- clean steel and aluminium food and drink cans
- clean aluminum foil and food trays
- empty aerosols
- clean plastic bottles
- clean plastic food pots, food tubs and food trays
- food and drink cartons
- glass bottles and jars

Mini recycling banks
There are 10 mini recycling banks available in the city centre where shoppers can drop off paper, cardboard, glass, cans, tins, plastic bottles, pots, tubs and trays and Tetra Paks for recycling.
They can be found at the following locations:
- Castle Meadow
- Cleveland Road
- St Benedicts Street
- Theatre Street
- St Andrews Street
- Upper St Giles Street
- Little London Street
- Norwich Bus Station
- Hay Hill/Weavers Lane
- Vauxhall Street.
Recycling street litter bins
Street litter bins are available in the following locations:
- St Stephens Street
- Red Lion Street
- Rampant Horse Street
- Castle Gardens
- Chapelfield Gardens
- Eaton Park
Each one has two compartments – one for general refuse and the other for paper, cardboard, cans, tins and plastic bottles.
