Norwich City Council’s community enabling officers support networking events all around the city.
These events are a chance to meet other local people who are delivering community activities while having a cup of tea and cake. You can find out more about other services available locally and tell people about any your own group is working on. It’s an ideal place to start up new partnership projects with likeminded people.
These networking sessions are run thematically.
The Outdoor Projects Network is for Norwich groups and organisations that work on outdoor sites such as parks, woods and community gardens.
The Food Network is for Norwich groups and organisations that work in a variety of ways to alleviate food poverty, reduce food waste and support healthy eating. Current projects include the introduction of social supermarkets to the city through the Norwich Food Alliance action plan.
These networking events are often delivered in partnership with organisations who work locally such as community centres or voluntary organisations. If you would like to host one and have support from our officers, please let us know.
To receive invites to these events, please email community@norwich.gov.uk and ask to be added to our mailing list.
